MTA Facilities – WSY is one of MTA active Rail Yard. Construction ran parallel to live MTA operations- MTA & the Project then coordinated track outages & foul-time to allow for construction to occur onto the tracks.
Major scope included replacement of rail infrastructure- fish plates, ballast & ties. New installation & commissioning of MEP systems- HVAC Duct network, exhaust/supply vent systems, Electrical- new substation, emergency generators, ATS & UPS for critical equipment, etc. In addition, Life & Safety systems were completed with 49 Deluge Zones to service 1000+ sprinkler heads.
All MEP & Life & Safety units were tied-in via fiber nodes through BMS- for live monitoring of operation & maintenance.
Construction personnel completed Roadway Worker Protection Training prior to entering MTA property.

Various Highway Projects
Connecticut, USA
Maintenance & protection of traffic - MPT on various projects in Connecticut. Performed work zone plan review, evaluated on the field work zone program to include traffic control devices & flaggers for efficiency & performance.
Navigated the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices- (MUTCD) standards to achieve best value solutions while meeting codes.
In addition, drafted incident reports & lessons learned matrix on near misses to establish causes and to prevent further similar occurrences.
Bridge Construction

Bridge Pier Cap Repairs
Narragansett, RI
This project encompassed for the rehabilitation of four (4) active overpass bridges in the towns of South Kingstown & Narragansett.
Key scope: erosion, runoff & sediment control, demo & replacement of existing elastomeric bearing pads, reinforced columns & pier caps while preserving vehicular traffic by supporting superstructure on temporary steel shoring systems.
Specialty item included application of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Wrap (FRP) on all structural members.
Maintenance & Protection of Traffic set-up used a combination of jersey barriers, drums, traffic cones and flaggers for a safe work zone throughout.
Roadway Construction

Improvements to Elmwood Ave
Providence, RI
The Elmwood Ave Improvement project is a stretch of roadway rehabilitation in the heart of Providence, RI.
Major scope of work include erosion, runoff & sediment control, trenching for replacement of underground gas & water, replacement roadway base & pavement re-surfacing, new sidewalks, traffic signage reset, reconstruction of storm catch basins & manholes, installation of street lighting & traffic lights, trees planting & other miscellaneous.
Maintenance & Protection of Traffic set-up used a combination of truck-mounted attenuators, jersey barriers, drums, traffic cones, flaggers to warn incoming traffic.
